Spalted Thinline Beauty

The ToMa Custom was a very sophisticated custom order. A super highgrade spalted maple top was glued on a thinline alder body. To create an armrest on top, the maple was bent down in this area. For the fretboard we used a unique piece of snakewood, which is incredibly dense and also very hard to find in this quality. A medium (25″) scale and a compound radius of 12-16″ make this one play like butter. The neck is a roasted AAA grade birdseye maple. We didn’t apply any additional stain, the color is a result of the thermal treatment. The rest is simply the finest components and state of the art craftsmanship – A zeal guitar at it’s best!
