The contemporary Jazz guitar
The intention of this project was to create a perfect symbiosis between a solid body and a hollow body guitar. We used a very resonant alpine spruce for the to, handcarved like 15″ arched top. For the body we used a chambered mahogany body. Body and top are connected by a sustain block under the bridge section to eliminate feedback when played at greater volume or even with distortion. The result is a very versatile guitar with great sustain and response, perfect for all kinds of classic to modern Jazz, but also very suitable for Blues or even moderate Rocktunes.
