The evolution of a classic design – here high-tech meets handcraft and vintage meets modern. Designed and built especially for Alex from LIO, we have slightly rejuvenated the timeless P design and adjusted some curves to give it a more elegant and modern look.
The color “British Racing Green” is slightly transparent to allow the expressive grain of the ash to shine through. The neck and fingerboard are only oiled for a natural feel. The thermal treatment of the maple makes it extremely stable and torsion-resistant and hardly tends to swell or shrink.
The bridge by ETS is milled from solid brass. This ensures a fat, powerful basic sound with rich sustain. Finally, the Hipshot Tuners ensure the best handling and tuning stability paired with little weight.
The hand-wound Häussel pickups perfectly capture the basic character of this instrument, with very clear and transparent articulation.
Overall, this has resulted in a modern and versatile bass with vintage vibes and contemporary features. Rock on Alex!
