Construction

For the bolt-on neck we use hand-polished industrial screws made of stainless steel with an M6 thread. Brass threaded sockets are inserted in the neck and provide an optimal contact pressure and stability of the neck joint. Thus, the thread stripping or widening of the mounting holes which sometimes occurs with regular wood screws is avoided.

The neck foot can very well be called a Long Tenon, it reaches into the body over the entire length of the neck pick-up milling. The large contact area which results from this provides a prefect vibration transmission and combined with the solid screw joints is the optimal compromise between bolt-on and set-in neck – the best of both worlds so to say. It has the response and dynamic of a bolt-on neck and the sustain and rich tonal character of a set-in neck. The neck-body joint can thus be shaped very conveniently and allows for effortless and comfortable playing up to the highest frets.
