Dark Hydra

This Hydra is the second one that we were allowed to build at Holger’s request. After he was completely impressed with his first one, it quickly became clear: Another one was needed. Said and done! Holger has again chosen a beautiful quilted maple top to decorate his Hydra. This time we opted for Khaya Mahogany for the body. The floating ABM 5200 tremolo delivers a beautifully balanced tone with brilliant overtones and is also very tuning stable thanks to the locking tuners. The two DiMarzio pickups deliver very nice split sounds with the 5-way Megaswitch P and are fully activated in positions 1 and 5 for a juicy rock sound. Our proven neck connection with the M6 ​​stainless steel screws ensure fast response and best sustain. The visual treat is the Charcoal-Burst finish and the Pale-Moon ebony fingerboard with the black ebony bindings. That alone is a work of art from mother nature and just looks awesome with this guitar.
