Tweakster KE

Dressed up for the big stage with real Pailsey fabric

We built this Tweakster at Klaus’ request. Our “Paisley Fabric” with real fabric cover was used as a finish for the top. This is carefully applied to the finished body and then sprayed over, sanded and finally polished to a high gloss in many steps. We covered the sides and back with real 24K gold leaf and gave it a very thin layer of varnish for protection.
The extremely light and resonant paulownia was used as the wood for the body. For the neck we used a thermally treated Swiss maple with beautiful flames. Due to the “roasting” it is widely insensitive to the effects of the weather, hardly swells or shrinks and is therefore extremely stable and stiff with a quick response and endless sustain. Perfectly polished stainless steel frets make bendings pure bliss and ensure a very nuanced playing feel.
The hand-wound pickups from Harry Häussel take care of the tone conversion – a humbucker in SC format on the bridge and 2 P90s in soapbar format with elegant gold covers. The HB can really rock and the two P90s have a very fat, round and creamy sound with a good portion of overtones.
A small additional gimmick is the active Clapton Midboost. When activated, it boosts every solo and cuts through the band mix like butter. The intensity can be adjusted with the Potiknob.
All in all, an absolute noble guitar with an eye-catching factor and a real chameleon in terms of sound!
