100% local woods and hardware

We designed and built this beauty with a classic S design for Thomas – entirely in the spirit of sustainability: completely free of tropical woods with hardware, pickups, tuners, fret wire and strings made in Germany. Why stride far away when we can find (almost) everything we need for a fine guitar on our doorstep?
The wooden base is provided by a body made of French walnut, together with a neck and fingerboard made of thermally treated, nicely flamed Swiss maple. The result is already a stunner when played acoustically! The sound is incredibly clear and transparent with endless ringing overtones, but still round with a warm, woody character. It is also super resonant with a precise response and a long and balanced sustain.
On the amp, the hand-wound Kloppmann pickups bring out this basic character perfectly. Always clear and transparent, warm and round without being muddy or mellow. With the HSH pickup combination and the superswitch with autosplit function and resistance adjustment of the pots, this guitar is very versatile in terms of sound.
The hardware from Schaller and ABM, as well as Wagner fret wire made of stainless steel and strings from Pyramid also come from Germany and are of the best quality that can be found on the market and, above all, manufactured under German standards of production and environmental protection without cheap wages.

Thanks to the short delivery routes of all local producers and our workshop supply with green electricity, we also ensure the smallest possible CO2 footprint.
