Back to the 80’s!

We built this Tweakster for Stephan from Vanden Plas. Stephan is a real string acrobat, his musical preferences lie (among many others) in classic metal of the eighties. And that is exactly what his custom guitar should reflect: Classic in black and white, clean and stylish, of course with pointed reverserd headstock and two humbuckers from Harry Häussel with plenty of power. For the bridge, we decided on a TOM 2504 from ABM. With the string-through-body construction, this ensures a very fast attack, direct and uncompromising response and singing sustain. The strings must of course never hover more than a millimeter above the stainless steel jumbo frets!
