Hydra Lowrider MS
Versatile precious wood
We specially designed and built this Hydra Lowrider Bass at Maximilian’s request. He chose the woods from our stock on site and selected this gorgeous maple burl top from a tree directly from the neighborhood. A thin separating layer made of walnut connects the top with the one-piece body made of Khaya. The figured maple fingerboard with a 34 “scale is adorned with MOP block inlays and framed by an ebony binding. When it comes to electronics, we’ve put the biggest emphasis on maximum versatility: The Häussel Triplebucker combines a Jazz PU with a MusicMan PU in a Makassar Ebony Cover on the bridge. The Neck Pickup is also a custom solution from Harry Häussel. Here is a Precision Pickup in a wooden cover in Soapbar format. With the 5-way switch, the coils can be connected, the mini switch ensures serial / parallel / split switching. The Noll TCM 4XM preamp with its 4-band EQ leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to sound processing. As a little icing on the cake, the knobs are also made of Makssar ebony, the ruthemium-refined hardware comes from ETS and Schaller. A real bass machine that leaves nothing to be desired!
