We built this dark pearl at Djavit’s request! Wood can hardly be more beautiful: an absolute killer quilted maple top adorns the front of this double cut. This hand-selected top was even thick enough to cut a 5mm back top off of it. As we all know, a beautiful back can also be delightful, so we also covered the back with this beautiful wood and sawed out the cover of the electronic cavity to match. For the finish, we applied a “natural binding” to both the top and the back. The edges of the maple tops were not stained, but retained their natural color. This creates the effect of a “binding” that underlines the charcoal burst even more and creates a nice contrast to the mahogany body.
Otherwise, this guitar is uncompromisingly designed for harder styles: a Häussel Tozz XL Fat pickup for powerful thrust on riffs and the VIN+ for fat solo sounds. Schaller hardware for the best function and tuning stability. Richlite fingerboard and stainless steel frets on a three-piece neck make it virtually indestructible.
A small visual treat is the inlaid Zeal logo made of abalone in the matching headstock.
