Multiscale Shredder

We designed and built this Hydra especially for Daniel. the 7-string multiscale scale ensures beautiful crisp and tight bass on the B string. The “normal” string length of 25.5 “in the treble feels familiar and softer. In addition, the fanned frets accommodate an ergonomic hand position and style of play. The extremely hard and mirror-polished polished stainless steel frets bring every note to the point and allow for very sensitive bendings. The humbuckers from Häussel in combination with the single bridges from ABM are beyond any doubt in terms of sound. But the red-stained Curly Maple top on the swamp ash with the black-filled pores under dark transparent lacquer is also a real eye-catcher. The Richlite fingerboard on the three-piece flamed maple neck provides enormous stability and rigidity.
