Cupido “Ringo I”

Blue Beauty

Wow… dear Michael has chosen a real killer top for his Cupido!! Maple can hardly be more beautiful – quilted maple at its best, so to speak. The grain also comes into its own perfectly with the “Faded Blue Denim” coloring. The play of colors on the front is complemented by the no less spectacular Kingwood fingerboard. The blank was even big enough to make two rings for the pickups out of it. Speaking of pickups: they naturally come from Harry Häussel (as they have been with us since day one).
As the guitar had to be as light as possible, we made it from spanish cedar – botanically and sonically a close relative of mahogany, but much lighter. This makes this Cupido not only a real visual treat, but also unrivaled in terms of sound. Round and powerful, clear and transparent – all in all an addictive guitar that guitar makers are reluctant to let go of… But luckily it ended up in good new hands 😉
